Dear Bishop Larkin Families,
 
We are excited to announce the 4th Annual Bishop Larkin Carnival!  Catholic Schools all over the country have enjoyed great success with this tradition of family fun and community togetherness. Our Carnival will be held Thursday, February 23- Sunday, February 26 on our fields.
 
Carnival Midway Rides, Games and Concessions, Food and Live Entertainment will all be scheduled throughout the weekend. Thursday night will kick it all off opening at 5pm.
Highlights will include our Rummage Sale open all weekend and our Craft Fair/Vendor Expo open Saturday from 9 am -5 pm and Sunday from 10 am – 4 pm.
 
There are many opportunities to become involved in this wonderful event!
 
The Carnival is a large and costly endeavor which could reap large rewards.  Therefore, we have been working to secure donations early due to the significant amount of upfront expenses.  Attached is information regarding various Sponsorship Opportunities for families and businesses.  We encourage you to consider these promotional opportunities as we expect great exposure through daily attendance and media attention planned for this event.
 
Any families with businesses or crafting talents are encouraged to participate in our Craft Fair/ Vendor Expo – coordinated by BL Parent Krissy Vaughn.  Please contact Krissy at krissyvaughn@verizon.net for more information.
 
Thanks to those who have been participating in our Drop Off Days for our Garage Sale. The final Tuesday morning drop off will be on January 24 and our final Saturday drop off will be on January 28.
 
Volunteers are an integral part of the success of our event. Attached you will find a detailed Volunteer Sheet.  Extended family members are invited to participate.  Fundraising hours will awarded for all volunteers.
 
Pre-sale food tickets and discounted ride wrist bands can be purchased in advance for as low as $15 daily or $50 for the entire weekend.  Tickets are being coordinated by BL Parent Sharon Spencer – See attached form for more information.
 
Lastly, we will be offering our Carnival T-Shirts for only $5!  Please see attached form to purchase yours.

Bishop Larkin Catholic School is now planning our 4th Annual Carnival which will be held from Thursday, February 23rd through Sunday, February 26th, 2012 on our school grounds.  We are once again planning a wonderful weekend of Midway Rides, Games, Food, Live Entertainment, Flea Market and Craft Fair that brings the entire community together as one.
 
There are a variety of ways to support our event including event sponsorship which allows you to promote your business.  Your contribution may be tax deductible.  Proceeds from this event will go directly to the school in helping to meet its operating budget and keeping the tuition affordable for our many families.
