       RELIGION PROGRAM
Religious training and faith formation are of the utmost importance and form an integral             part of school life. All students attend daily religion classes that provide the foundation for             the clear understanding of the Catholic faith and living out a faith commitment.

LITURGY
School Masses are celebrated weekly in the Centrum of Saint James Parish.  Holy Days of Obligation and special events are also celebrated. Responsibility for preparation of the liturgy is rotated among the school’s classes and students actively participate in the mass.  Parents/Guardians are welcome to participate in these liturgies. Opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation and special prayer services are scheduled each liturgical season throughout the school year.

Introducing Your
Parish Liaisons

One of the major initiatives of the Development Office is the Parish Outreach Program.  BLCS parents graciously volunteer to serve as liaisons to each of our six parishes.  These parents are there to help complete the circle of faith between our school community and your parish communities.  They have done a wonderful job so far this year in communicating with you and their parishes.  They have coordinated the Auction Promotion weekends and most recently coordinated our Pastor Appreciation Celebration.  We will soon be planning our Catholic Schools Week Celebration.  Please be sure to make your involvement in your parish a priority and assist your liaisons wherever needed.
