Congratulations to Mark Detlor the winner of the Catholic Foundation annual essay competition. This
competition invited our 8th graders at Catholic schools throughout the
Diocese to share the importance of Catholic School education in their
lives. The
winner will receive a full-year tuition scholarship to the Diocesan
Catholic High School of their choice, courtesy of the Catholic
Foundation Board of Trustees.

Introducing The Cougar Corner!
The 8th grade Enrichment class has taken on the
responsibility of opening a school store. The store, The Cougar Corner, sells
school essentials such as pencils, crayons, folders, glue, and many more items.
We also sell a few BLCS spirit gear items, such as BLCS water bottles, golf towels, and
pencils. Item prices range from $0.10- $3.00. All profits from The Cougar
Corner go to back to Student Council. The Cougar Corner is open every Friday during
Middle School and Intermediate lunch shifts, and is brought to Primary
classrooms at least once a month.
